Observatory Support for Art and Science Projects

OVSQ is involved in many art and science projects in an effort to convey the importance of scientific messages through works of art and emotional responses.
OVSQ participates in the dialogue between collaborators through Diagonale Paris-Saclay and is involved in large-scale events such as the Festival Curiositas de Paris-Saclay.
Collaborations between scientists and researchers contribute a lot to the scientific community and their laboratories as well as to artists. The general public is open to learning through an emotional connection in exhibitions, events, workshops, conferences, etc.
In June 2018, the OVSQ collaborated in the project "Ils remontent le temps…" (Back to the Past).
In the autumn of 2018, the Observatory hosted an exhibition by an Inuit artist in partnership with the Diagonale Paris-Saclay, which had already been shown to the public at the Science Festival (Fête de la science) in 2017 at the Commanderie des Templiers in Élancourt.
