OVSQ in the future

Since 2010, University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelins (UVSQ) has been enriched with a universal scientific observatory: Observatory of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (OVSQ). Under the supervisions of university and national scientific research center, OVSQ combines few competences in both observation, research, vocational training, education in environmental domaine, climate, sustainable development and solary system planets observation. In the center of natural sciences and human social sciences, OVSQ expands its activities into medecine research relating to environment. The multidisciplinarity and complement between our laboratories forming a force in new synergia, it helps to push forward international partnerships and advanced scientific technologies.
In order to maintain a strong spirit in experimental researches, our observatory posseses advanced equipments in order to carry out our missions in global remote sensing, or interactive visualization of complexe datas. It contributes to global network in earth atmosphere as well as in green house gases observation, we explore the polaric regions to find the index of climate changes. To strengthen our prospective in terms of sustainable development, we have been launching international framwork programs in relating fields.
Situating in the heart of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, OVSQ aims to spread out knowledge into the public. Our scientific manifestation will be regularly displayed in one of our campus, I sincerely invite you to come and witness our progress.
